The Rhubarb Festival in Hopedale is still going on.
The DHSD had a Senior’s Luncheon at 12 noon today.
And they are holding a Toddler Social, which started at 1:30, at the Nanuk Centre.
Tonight at 7 pm, they will hold a Duct Tape Boat Race at the dock.
The First place winner will receive $200.
The Second place winner will get $150.
And the third place winner will take home $100.
At 9 pm, they’ll hold a Bonfire at the Nanuk Centre.
Tomorrow, July 22, starting at 1:30, the HIGC will hold the Fire Department Firemen’s Challenge.
Prizes are to be announced, and it will be located next to the Fire Hall.
At 7 pm, they will have a Rhubarb Cooking Contest for the Best Rhubarb Dish.
The First place winner will receive $200.
The Second place finisher will win $150.
And the Third place winner will take home $100.
The Rhubarb Cooking Contest will take place at the Nanuk Community Centre.
There is a limit of one entry per person.
And at 9 pm, they will hold a Family Social; details are to be announced later.
