The town of Happy Valley Goose Bay are still holding their 2023 Winter Lights Contest.
Check out the Christmas lights in HVGB and vote for your favorite one among those that have registered.
To vote you can go on the HVGB webpage and click on the link to vote on the online form, or if you don’t have access to a computer call the town office and someone will help you.
Voting will be done through an online form (with an option for people without online access to call in to 709-896-3321 and have town staff submit their vote for them). All residents of Happy Valley-Goose Bay are eligible to vote.
Voting has now started and will continue until noon on Thursday, December 21st with winners to be announced at 4:00 pm on the same day.
Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 Best Decorated Homes regardless of which section of town they are from. The prizes will be as follow:
First Prize: $200 Gift Certificate
Second Prize: $100 Gift Certificate
Third Prize: $50 Gift Certificate
The prize for the Best Decorated Business will be one hour of Ice Time at the E. J. Broomfield Memorial Arena.
Please get out and view all of the beautifully decorated houses and businesses that we have in our community. Also make sure to vote for the best decorated house and business from among those registered for the contest.
Winners will be announced on the Town’s website and official Facebook page on Thursday, December 21st, 2023.
