The Nunatsiavut Government (NG) is working to develop a marine plan named Immappivut, or “Our Waters.”
Chaim Andersen is a summer student with NG.
She says an information session will take place tonight at 6 pm at the NG boardroom.
They will discuss the plan, which is to ensure that Inuit of Nunatsiavut are the decision makers for what happens in their waters.
And what will benefit the health, social, and economic well-being of the region.
