Wood Distribution in Nain

The town of Nain is receiving wood to distribute to seniors, low income families and single parents.

In the town of Nain the Inuit Community Government received about 60 cords of wood.

Joe Dicker is the AngajukKâk of Nain.

He says that the NICG is still awaiting 24 more cords of wood.

Dicker says that seniors, the disabled, widows, and those considered single mothers will be getting one load per household.

He adds that there are 5 people with trucks volunteering, but he is still seeking 9 more volunteers and they will start delivering wood tomorrow.
