The Orientation Technology Training Program for women in Happy Valley Goose Bay will be going ahead in January.

The program starts January 7, 2012.

She says the program will run for twelve weeks, but may be expanded to 16 weeks.

They are looking for women between the ages of 17-22.

Pilgrim says there are seven women so far, and they are hoping to have sixteen for this year.

These students will be taking training for trades and technology positions.

There’s an information session for the program coming up on Tuesday November 27th at 7 pm.

It will take place at the College of the North Atlantic in Goose Bay, in Room 106.

Pilgrim adds that any women who are interested in this program can contact her at (896- 6315).
