A local volunteer committee is being organized in Nain to begin preparations for the upcoming Cain’s Quest Snowmobile Endurance Race.
Nain’s AngajukKak, Tony Andersen, is helping organize the committee.
He’s inviting anybody willing to volunteer their time to join him at the Nain Inuit Community Government office on Monday evening.
A number of volunteers are needed to ensure that Nain is prepared to serve as a layover for the racers.
The teams will be laying over in Nain for a 10-hour period.
