The Nain Housing Committee has new executives in place.
Margret Fox is the Chair for the TRHA Housing Committee.
She says they held a meeting on Tuesday and elected the housing committee executives.
Fox says there are 7 committee members including herself, Duane Metcalfe, Jerry Hapgood, Rod Pilgrim, Johanna Tuglavina, Jacob Larkin, and Tony Andersen.
Fox says she was re-elected as the Chairperson for 2 years, Rod Pilgrim is the Co-Chair, and Jacob Larkin is the Secretary.
Fox would like to remind everyone who applied for a new house or repairs that the new deadline to submit their income tax statements is May 15.
Individuals can drop off their income tax statement for their applications at the Nain Inuit Community Government office.
If anyone does not send in or drop off their income tax statement, their application will be disqualified.
Fox says the committee has started to review applications.
TRHA is also looking for 2 people who are interested in cleaning up the TRHA warehouse and lumber yard in Nain.
Interested persons must submit their name to one of the local housing committee members before May 12.
