The Hopedale ice is drained off and still good to ski-doo on.
We spoke to Ian Winters, the Conservation Officer for his community.
He says the ice is good to ski-doo on for another three weeks.
Winters says the roads are plowed, but people can still use ski-doos on the side of the roads.
He says people are going hunting mainly to Udjutok, to hunt seal, go goose hunting, and are going fishing.
