The Nunatsiavut fishery is up for discussion in Postville today.
Members of the Torngat Fish Producers Cooperative are in the community for their annual general meeting.
The meeting was originally scheduled for last week.
It was postponed until this week due to weather conditions.
Agenda items include last year’s fishery, the upcoming season and the creation of a single fishing entity between the LIDC, Nunatsiavut Government and Torngat Fisheries.
The single fishing entity is now referred to as a Joint Fishery Partnership.
The AGM is scheduled for a single day.
