Family and friends did another search for Jake Basto in Makkovik last Thursday October 16.
We spoke with Corporal Boyce Noble of the Makkovik RCMP Detachment.
He says 12 volunteers were searching within the Makkovik area.
A Fire Emergency Services helicopter was provided for 4 hours.
And the RCMP dog services was also provided during the search.
Noble says they searched 800 square kilometers around town as well as two wooded areas, but still no sign of Basto.
The search was not successful, so volunteer searchers, family and friends left the following evening to head back to Hopedale.
