Screenings of a Film Featuring Labrador’s Moravian Choirs to Take Place (Audio)

A film featuring students from the Memorial University of Newfoundland performing with Moravian choirs in Labrador will be screened in several communities this month.

Tom Gordon, a Professor at MUN’s School of Music, was joined by Nigel Markham and his film crew to collect the footage last spring.

Gordon says they collected around 55 hours of footage in Nain, Hopedale and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

That footage was used to make the film “Till We Meet Again”.

Gordon says they’re returning to Nain, Hopedale and Happy Valley-Goose Bay to screen their production.

The first screening will take place in Nain on March 7.

Gordon hopes that everybody comes out to view the film which features performers from each of the communities.
