The Nunatsiavut Group of Companies has hired a manager for the Torngat Mountains National Park Base Camp and Research Station.
Kristy Sheppard is a Trustee with the Labrador Inuit Capital Strategy Trust.
She says Wayne Broomfield has been hired as the Manager of Nunatsiavut Solutions Incorporated.
Nunatsiavut Solutions is a subsidiary of the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies.
It is responsible for the operation of the base camp and research centre.
This is Broomfield’s second year as manager and the third year that NGC will operate the camp.
