Registration just started for children who will be starting kinder start this fall.
And a new online registration process in put in place for children who will be attending to the Kindergarten in September of 2020 and for children who will be starting kinder start this September.
Registration began Monday May 13 and Tuesday Mary 14 in the Labrador regions.
We spoke with Mrs. Angnatok who is the Assistant Principal at K-3 school.
She says children must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2020 in order to register.
Children registered in kinder start will automatically be registered to attend Kindergarten in September 2020.
To complete the online registration you must need the following in order to complete the online application:
1. MCP number including expiration date;
2. An email address in order to receive confirmation of receipt of your application;
3. Contact phone number and an emergency contact phone number; and,
4. An Internet-ready device
To complete the registration process, proof of address and confirmation of MCP number must be provided in person at the designated school on or before May 31, 2019.
Angnatok says parents can also come down to the JHMS primary school to register their children for kinder start or kindergarten, please bring your Childs MCP to complete the forms.
