President Lyall Attends Last Meeting on Behalf of Labrador Inuit (Audio)

Nunatsiavut President Jim Lyall attended what may very well be his last meeting as the leader of Labrador Inuit.

He was among the delegates of this week’s Inuit Tapiriit Kantami’s annual general meeting in kujjuuaq, Nunavik.

The event gathered delegates from the four Inuit regions including their respective leaders.

Lyall says a number of issues facing Canadian Inuit were discussed during the AGM.

Terry Audla was also elected to the position of ITK President.
