The Christmas spirit in the community of Postville is in full swing.
Shirley Goudie is the Town Manager for the Postville Inuit Community Government.
She says they held their Santa Clause parade on Saturday.
A number of people turned out to get a glimpse of old Saint Nick.
She says residents have begun lighting up their Christmas lights as part of their annual best-decorated house contest.
The winner of the contest will be crowned this Thursday.
Goudie is encouraging more people to join in on the competition.
Families in need are receiving their Christmas vouchers Monday.
The vouchers provide those families with the items needed for a Christmas dinner throughout the holidays.
