Pauktuutit National Inuit Women’s Association is creating an online quilt.
They are asking anyone from the four Inuit regions to submit photos and videos of art pieces that they create.
The submissions can be paintings; drawings; carvings; sculptures; or any other art piece.
They will commemorate the feelings and ideas of residential school experiences.
Materials and supplies will be provided by Pauktuutit, along with a camera to submit their photos and videos.
Catherine Irgnaut is the Manager for Abuse Prevention for Pauktuutit.
She says that they will unveil the online quilt in March of 2013.
