The chartered flights to the north coast communities through CAI Nunatsiavut Marine will conclude next week.
The Department of Transportation and Works announced that the last CAI chartered flight from the North coast to Happy Valley Goose Bay will be on Friday, December 7.
The final flight on that day will include Nain to Natuashish, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet and Happy Valley- Goose Bay.
And the final flight from Happy Valley- Goose Bay to Rigolet, Makkovik, Postville, Hopedale, Natuashish and Nain will be Monday, December 10.
The final flight from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Rigolet, Cartwright and Black Tickle will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The return flight to Happy Valley-Goose Bay from the South coast will be on Saturday, Dec. 15.
The CAI Marine charter flights have been running since early September.
