Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement residing in the
Constituency of Nain will head to the polls on January 18, 2024.
This is to choose an Ordinary Member to fill a vacant seat in the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
This is the third time a date has been set for the by-election. There were no
nominations received for the two previous calls.
Nominations for the January 18 by-election will close at 2 p.m. (Atlantic Standard Time) on January 3, 2024.
