There was a presentation held here in Nain on some archeology work at Okak on the evening of July 24, 2019.
Peter Whitridge is a professor in the department of Archeology at Memorial University.
He also says he directed a small field crew who did some environmental sampling and some drone mapping in the Okak area.
He says at his presentation, although there weren’t very many people who attended went very well and had great questions.
