There will be a Young Girls Empowerment & Personal Development for Young Girls here in Nain from August 12-16, 2019.
This will be for girls aged 13-18 from the communities of HVGB, NWR, Nain, Rigolet, Makkovik, Postville, Hopedale Nain and 1 person from the Canadian Constituency.
The intent of the program is to educate and promote healthy lifestyles through informal discussions and interactions that will empower young girls with confidence, pride and self-esteem throughout Inuit traditions and cultural practices.
Door prizes will be drawn for the purpose to encourage, promote, empower, educate and engage all young girls.
