On July 31, 2019 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Nain RCMP received a report of a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that occurred sometime overnight.
Police conducted patrols through the community and located a man driving the ATV in the community.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, 34-year-old David J. Tuglavina, was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. In addition, he was found to be impaired by alcohol and in breach of his probation order for consuming alcohol.
Tuglavina was held in custody and attends court yesterday. He has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5000, impaired operation, and breach of probation.
