The Nunatsiavut Health and Environmental Researchers went to the north coast communities to do community information sessions on contaminants.
Katie Winters is the Chair for the Research Centre for Nain.
She says there are seven committee members on this project.
Winters says the committee members went to high schools to meet with students.
They also held public information sessions in the evenings.
Winters says Eric Lorning, a Senior Researcher of Inuit Tapariit kanadami, could not make it to the meeting.
