The budget bill was one of the main issues discussed during the Nunatsiavut Assembly sitting in Hopedale last week.
We spoke with Darryl Shiwak the First Minister of Nunatsiavut Government.
He says the budget bill was passed.
Shiwak says a loan guarantee for Torngat Fish Producers Co-operative was also approved.
He adds there were also some questions asked about the decline and ban of the George River caribou herd.
