The Annual Take back the night march was postponed in Hopedale due to weather conditions.
We spoke with Tina Flowers, the Executive Director for the Hopedale Woman’s Center.
Flowers say the walk will be lead by the local RCMP throughout the town.
She says the walk will begin at the Pentecostal church weather permitting, and participants are asked to register before the walk.
T-shirts will be given out that were donated by the Status of Woman’s Council through the Nunatsiavut Government.
A ticket will also be given to the registered participants for a chance to win a return ticket donated by Air Labrador.
Flowers says after the walk they plan to have a community winner roast located at the after school building.
