Nain’s Summer Recreation Programs Begin

The Nain Inuit Community Government’s Summer Recreation Program will be keeping the community’s young people busy throughout the summer.

Recreation Director Lisa Ivany says they began offering the program on Tuesday.

Around 65 children from four to 12 years old will be taking part in the program throughout the summer.

14 staff, including summer students, will be responsible for carrying out the activities.

Those activities include making crafts and playing sports and games.

The Summer Recreation Program runs until August 20.
