Nain Snowmobile Fire Considered Suspicious

The Nain Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a suspicious fire in the community early Tuesday morning.

Rod Pilgrim is the Fire Chief.

He says they received a call advising them of the fire at around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a completely charred snowmobile.

Pilgrim says the snowmobile was parked near the residence’s fence and thankfully it never ignited the fence or home.

The owner of the snowmobile says they were woken up by loud knocks on their door.

Four people including the owner were sleeping in the home when the fire broke out.

The cause of the blaze has not been determined.

The incident is being considered suspicious by the Fire Chief.

RCMP is expected to investigate the matter today.

So this is what Nain is coming to? When someone doesn’t like you, they burn down your skidoo! Wow, these generations are growing up with so disrespectful. Think before you do things people, especially this person, could of also burned down the house.
