Last evening at 11pm the Nain RCMP department received a phone call stating there was a house fire.
We spoke with Constable Graham Dawe.
The fire department was already on the scene when the phone call was received.
All occupants that were in the home made it out and weren’t injured.
Graham says they have the scene secured and are waiting to speak with the fire commissioner.
The home is still standing with exterior walls.
He adds to please remind all residents to be careful with wood stoves, be cautious of what you are boiling, and be careful with dangerous flammable objects.
