Peter Adams is the Chief Executive Officer for Nunatsiavut Marine.
Adams says that divers were in Nain yesterday, and that the overall result was that the wharf has been cleared to be docked by the Astron.
Although repairs are needed at the wharf, it will not have an impact on docking.
The divers were also in Makkovik, and all the debris has been cleared by a diving team to allow the Astron to dock in the community.
As reported earlier, Adams had mistakenly said that the Rigolet wharf was also a concern, but that it is not the case.
The provincial government is planning on doing some work on the infrastructures in Nunatsiavut this summer as well.
