The employees at the Nain and Makkovik fish plants are really busy with char, crab and Turbot.
Deidi Kolhmeister is the Office Supervisor for Nain fish plant.
She says there are 28 employees working at the plant.
Kolhmeister says 39,076 pounds of char has been landed to date.
She adds there are 12 fishermen fishing char.
In Makkovik, we spoke to Junior Andersen, who is the Production Manager for the fish plant in his community.
He says there are 60 employees working at the plant.
Andersen says 475,704 pounds of crab has been landed so far.
He says there are 3 crab boats fishing.
And 35,000 pounds of Turbot has been landed to date and there are 4 Turbot boats fishing.
