The 26th Annual Trout Festival continues in Makkovik and is finishing tomorrow, August 13th.
Today started with a Family Sand sculpture Contest at Ranger Bight.
At 3pm a swimming Relay Race will take place and then a bike long jump at the dock at 6pm.
A Texas Hold’em Tournament will be held this evening at 7:30.
On Saturday morning at 9am , there will be a Diabetes Run/Walk and at 2pm there will be a Water war at the Town Council office.
The trout Festival Supper will be at 5pm at $5 a plate with local entertainment provided.
The Festival will end off with A Dance for 19+, which will feature live entertainment by the Band Rebel.
