The Moravian Church in Makkovik is now considering locking its doors following a case vandalism in the facility.
Constable Kevin Pottle of the RCMP detachment in Makkovik says the church received some damage on Monday night.
Nothing was reported to be missing following a thorough search of the premises.
Constable Pottle says they do have a couple of suspects in mind but nobody has been arrested at this point.
The church’s doors have always been left unlocked in the past.
The community is now considering keeping the doors locked following Monday night’s incident.
The constable is asking anybody with any information to contact him at the Makkovik RCMP detachment.
