Lynx Mobility

Lynx  Mobility provides cellular services in Aboriginal communities; they have services in Quebec, Nunavut and Labrador, and soon to be in Nain.

Adnan Ahmed is the General Manager for Lynx’s Mobility.

He says they now have a Representative from Nain, who will be providing local services with Lynx  Mobility.

The Nain’s Representative will be Lucas Terriak also known as John Terriak.

As the representative Terriak will be taking care of local services for Lynx .

Ahmed says before the launch to receive cellular services in Nain, Lynx’  will be inviting everyone in town for the big launch.

He says they don’t have a date set yet for when the launch will be, but Okalakatiget will have coverage on this once available.

On their website individuals can do a Pre Registration form, this is for everyone to register their phones with Lynx .

Once you register you will then receive a $20 bonus credit before using the service.

During the launch, Lynx’  will offer this bonus credit to everyone who signs up.

At the launch Lynx  will be helping those who need help to activate their phones and to show everyone how to manage their account, review all their messages and   the top up options.

Stay tuned next week during our Atjikangitut program to hear more of what Ahmed has to say about having cellular services for Nain.
