Jordin Tootoo coming to Labrador

The Nunatsiavut Group of Companies are sponsoring a trip for Jordin Tootoo to visit the North Coast Communities.

He is the very first Inuk hockey player who recently retired from playing in the National Hockey League.

He will be traveling to Nain on Thursday, January 24th.

He will be at the Nain Husky Center where a hockey camp will be set up with the Nain Minor Hockey Program.

The Husky Centre will be open to the public at 7:30pm.

Tootoo will also be going to Makkovik on Friday, January 25th.

He will be at the Makkovik Arena with the minor hockey program as well, which will start at 3:30pm.
