The Nunatsiavut Government is still seeking an illustrator for the Inukbook.
Jodie Lane is the Education Manager with NG.
Lane says the first deadline was February 28th, 2017, but is now extended to April 28th, 2017.
The chosen illustrator will get paid $250 a drawing.
The Inukbook Children’s Literature Series has selected Samantha Jacque of Postville as their first author to write a Labrador Inuktitut Children’s book.
Her story about the Christmas Drop in Nutâk will be published in the coming year.
