Inuit Child First Initiative is a federal initiative created to ensure Inuit children have access to equitable education, health, and social supports.
They offer service navigation to families hoping to apply and access ICFI funding.
We spoke with Dolores Flowers the regional child services manager with the Nunatsiavut DHSD and we also spoke with Danielle Baikie who is the Director of Family Services with the Nunatsiavut Government.
The Nunatsiavut Government in partnership with ICFI are wanting to inform our listeners about how they can apply and what can be provided once you apply for any services navigation to families.
