OKâlaKatiget Society Radio Department tried to contact each of the Inuit Community Governments for the results on the House Decorating Contest, but most everyone is still on holidays.
However, we spoke to Dina Wolfrey, the Recreation Assistant for RICG.
According to Wolfrey, here are the results for the house decorating contest in Rigolet:
Best decorated went to Desiree Wolfrey.
Best Christmas Theme winner was Carly Blake.
Most Original winner was Sandi Michelin.
Most lights also went to Sandi Michelin.
The best decorated tree lighting prize for each category was 75.00.
They also had 3 random prize draws of 50.00.
And the winners were Gervas House, Ethel Campbell and Sandi Michelin.
