It was a great run for the past eight seasons on the coast with the MV northern ranger. We have had our ups and downs with the ranger, but she has always come through.
The last 4 seasons, excluding weather delays, the ranger was in service 100% of the time.
This has been a great testament to the dedicated crew onboard who have always done their best to make it safe and comfortable as possible for all our passengers.
We have received some very nice compliments from residents and tourists alike and these have always been passed onto the ship crew. For that we thank you.
The north coast of Labrador is a very challenging environment to operate a ship in wind, tide, currents, and ice for everyone, everyday.
But the northern ranger, with her skilled crew, has always overcome these obstacles to make sure we got you or your cargo safely delivered to your destination.
We wish Labrador marine all the best going forward with the new ship and we look forward to continuing on with the shore based service and support.
