A meeting was held yesterday afternoon in Nain.
Lela Evans is the MHA for the Torngat Mountains.
Evans says Richard Leo helped set up this meeting on a short notice.
The meeting was held at the Nain Department of Health and Social Development at 1:30 pm yesterday afternoon.
Topics that were discussed were mainly focused on families who have their children in Care with CSSD, for Foster Parents, and Babysitters.
Evans says there was a huge turnout of 15 people.
With the amount of people she says there was a lot of feedback and everyone had the opportunity to discuss their problems and their thoughts about having children in care or children who are in the foster system.
She adds that she is preparing to fight for changes and she needs your input and more people to voice their concerns on what is working and what isn’t working for you.
