Today marks day 4 for the Elder’s Conference.
This is the final day before Elders head back to their home communities.
The Elder Coordinator, Beverly Hunter will be holding an Entertainment night this evening for the Elders and the community for the last day.
Performances will be held at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre starting at 7:30pm.
All are welcome to attend and for those who would like to perform can do so, or go up to watch performances done by the Nain Choir, Nain Brass Brand, local throat singers and the Beardos.
Cathy Ford is the Napvâlavut Project Manager with the Nunatsiavut Government.
She will be giving information about her project with Nanilavut which means “ Let us find them” this project will be bringing closure to Inuit families who are still searching for lost loved ones from the TB epidemic in the 1940’s to 1960’s.
