The fourth annual Community Youth Network and Mr. Volleyball Tournament kicked off Thursday evening in Nain.
There are 12 teams taking part in the competition.
They’re split evenly between the male and female categories.
One of those teams is from Makkovik while two are from Hopedale and the rest are local.
The first competition took place between four local teams in Nain on Thursday evening.
‘Reggie’s Team’ beat the “Pamilugak Team’ two games to one.
“Block Magic’ beat ‘Juliana’s Team’ two games in a row.
The teams from out of town arrived Friday morning for this weekend’s competition.
The next game takes place between ‘Nicki’s Team’ and the ‘Hopedale Boys’ at Friday afternoon at the Jens Haven Memorial School’s Gym.
