Last week we reported that two separate drug charges were dropped during the last Court Circuit held in Nain.
The charges were dropped because there was no federal prosecution present.
For the community of Hopedale, The next court docket is scheduled for today.
There are 4 drug trafficking charges in Hopedale.
Three individuals are scheduled to enter pleas.
And one drug trafficking conviction is up for sentencing.
Constable Claude Gallant, a Constable with the RCMP detachment in Hopedale, says that the drug trafficking charges are related only to marijuana.
He adds that there are no heavy drug problems in that community.
