Carroll Baker Coming To Goose Bay

A country music legend will be hitting the stage at the Lawrence O’Brien Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Oct. 11.

It’s been more than 20 years since Carroll Baker last appeared in concert in the community.

Wanting to make it extra special for her many fans in the area, she has combined two shows into one.

She will be doing songs from her Thanks for the Memories concert and her Country Classics concert.

Both shows will take everyone on a walk down memory lane and will feature her many hit songs, as well as paying tribute to many of her favourite performers.

There will also be video clips of Baker performing, from her first JUNO Awards performance to her many TV shows, including her top rated CBC special “Carroll Baker in Nashville”.

These will include clips of her performing with many of her friends such as Hank Snow, Conway Twitty, Terry Carisse and many more.

There will also be plenty of Gospel music for her fans to enjoy and sing along, and incredible stories that she always shares with her fans.

Baker is a member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and was appointed to the Order of Canada, the highest honour Canada bestows on a Canadian Citizen.
