The Nain RCMP Detachment received a phone call from a worker with the Nain airstrip on Tuesday morning stating that the airport had been broken into.
Jocelyn Noseworthy is a Constable at the Nain RCMP Detachment.
She says the airstrip was broken into early Tuesday morning.
The RCMP arrested a 22 year old man in connection with the break and enter.
He is being charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.
Noseworthy says the 22 year old has been released on an undertaking and will appear in court in July.
The suspect is alleged to have taken two packages containing liquor for two individuals.
RCMP are continuing the investigation.
