The Combined Councils of Labrador’s 41st annual general meeting went well in Goose Bay last week.
Nick McGrath is the Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs and Services for NL.
He says a lot of issues were discussed.
McGrath says there were delegations from the north and south coasts and the Straits.
The Ministers from the Cabinet also attended.
Municipalities, transportation, new ferries, health care, and the economy were under discussion.
Executive elections also took place.
McGrath says Tony Andersen of Nain was elected as their new president.
