AnanauKatiget Tumingit (Regional Inuit Women’s Association) is seeking individuals who are interested in instructing a workshop teaching traditional crafts.
Myrtle Banfield is the Coordinator.
The Association received funding through the Provincial Government’s Violence Prevention Initiative for a traditional craft project.
The Association has posted an instructor position ad out in all the communities on the coast, Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet, including Happy Valley- Goose Bay, North West River and St. John’s.
The duration of workshops will be for 12 weeks at 4 hours per week.
The deadline to apply is January 6, 2012 at 12 noon.
