ACMS Students Tour Voisey’s Bay for Career Exploration 2012

Students of Amos Comenius Memorial School were given a chance to see the careers available at the Voisey’s Bay mine site this week.

Curtis Oliver is one of the student’s teachers.

He says teh high school students travelled into to the site earlier this week for the annual career exploration trip.

The students were given a tour of the mine site and provided with information on the careers available within Voisey’s Bay.

The rest of the schools from along the coast will also take part in a career exploration trip over the next while.

Oliver says it was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the careers available to them as they prepare to pursue a post-secondary education.
