The Nunatsiavut Government has 29 moose licences available to be drawn and harvested by Nunatsiavut Beneficiaries.
The 2016-2017 licences will be drawn as follows:
Nain- 6 licenses
Hopedale- 6 licenses
Postville-3 licenses
Makkovik- 5 licenses
Rigolet-5 licenses
Goose Bay- 3 licenses
North West River- 1 license
Interested Beneficiaries must apply at their local Nunatsiavut Government office.
There is a limit of one application per household.
Proof of residence, as well your Nunatsiavut Beneficiary card, may be requested.
Applications for the first draw must be in before 1 pm, on September 14th, 2016.
