100th Day of School

The Jens Haven Primary School will be celebrating their 100th Day of School tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19th, 2020.

To celebrate, they are asking the children to dress up like they are 100 years old, and here are some ideas to get started:

For the girls, they are asked to wear printed skirt, pearls, eyeglasses, sweater, a wig or curled hairstyle, knee high stockings, a large purse, and a scarf.

For the boys, they are asked to wear a button down shirt, vest, flannel shirt, suspenders, tie, eyeglasses, mustache or beard, and grey hair.

They are also given a choice to decorate a hat or shirt with 100 items or bring in a collection of 100 items.

The suggested items are buttons, Q-tips, macaroni, or whatever your imagination can come up with.

The Makkovik J.C Erhardt Memorial school will also be celebrating our 100th day of school tomorrow.

They are inviting all members of the community to take part in a parade through town at 1 pm tomorrow.
