The 18th Annual Bernard & Jeffery Webb Memorial Ice hockey tournament is fast approaching.
We spoke with Lisa Ivany who is the Recreation Director with NICG.
The tournament is this weekend and starts Friday, February 21st to Sunday, February 23rd 2020.
Ivany says there are 6 teams who will compete in the tournament. They are:
-Team North Stars from Makkovik
-Team Gracie from Nain
-Team Warriors
-Team Gussie
-Team Old Timers and
-Team Redcats
The admission fee to watch the tournament is $1 per person.
Ivany says that if anyone wants to sell food or help fundraise can talk to her.
She adds that she needs a referee to help with the tournament, can be from anywhere and will get paid.
