The Nunatsiavut Department of Health and Social Development hired on the new Youth Outreach Worker for Nain.
Kim Oliver is the new Youth Outreach Worker.
We had one of our Radio Producers go down to get Oliver’s feedback about her new position.
And some youth had a few words, and their thoughts.
Oliver held a meet and greet at the Youth Center on Friday November 8th, 2019.
She held a meet and greet to find out what programs the youth would like to see happen.
Some examples included the “Big Brother Big Sister”, hold jam sessions where youth can come by and play their instruments, homework hour; Day trips out on the land and more programs.
